My experience as an educator includes 12 years as a teacher in the Technical and Further Education (TAFE) sector and 15 years as a lecturer in the University sector.  This gives me experience facilitating training for a range of adult learners.  I am adept at face-to-face training and online virtual training presentations on a variety of topical areas both technical and academic. In addition, I have created SCORM packages using authoring tools, for several of my courses to increase student interactions.

In 2019 I had online external students from Germany, Columbia, China and the United States as well as New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. This entailed a concerted effort to create an online class environment that was inclusive, supportive, and accessible. In 2013, I produced a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on World Music for Open2Study, as branch of Open University Australia, with a global student enrolment of 13,000+ students over a five-year period who successfully completed the course.
